What benefits can I expect from an AzureCalm mp3?
An immediate feeling of calmness followed by reduced stress and
anxiety levels. Long term benefits include reduced blood pressure,
increased immunity against illness and a more positive outlook.
What will I feel?
Everybody will have a different experience - there is no right or
wrong way. You will be totally aware of your surroundings and be in
full control at all times yet you will be in a very relaxed state.
You may feel sleepy, your arms may feel heavier and you may feel
slightly light-headed. When you finish your session, you may feel as
if you have awoken from a deep sleep.
Is there anywhere I shouldn't play the mp3's?
Yes, whilst driving or operating heavy machinery or if you suffer
from epilepsy. if in doubt, consult your doctor.
How long are the mp3s?
Each mp3 is
around 17-20 minutes, to give you the best relaxation experience in
a short break from from your daily routine. Each AzureCalm mp3 is
uniquely designed to help you in a particular way: relaxation,
stress management, meditation, better sleep etc... Please note that
each mp3 begins with the same narration - the special induction
exercises (around 6 minutes duration) which take you into a state of
deep relaxation in preparation for the mp3's main subject. Each mp3
has its own unique music soundscape to give you the best relaxation
experience. Each file is around 15-20 Mb in size, so with a 512k
Broadband connection it should take no more than around 4-5 minutes
to download.
How can I get maximum benefit from AzureCalm?
To get the best relaxation experience you should listen to them with
headphones, on a personal mp3 player (like an iPod) or portable cd
player. Full instructions on how to download your AzureCalm mp3 and
transfer it to your mp3 player are provided after the checkout. If
you want to listen to the mp3 on a cd player, you'll need to burn
the file to an audio cd first. This can be done in your music
management application (eg iTunes), or using a dedicated burning
application like Roxio Toast or Nero.
